How much does it cost to use Convertable?
Our beta users will never pay to use Convertable. Sometime in the future, we will charge a very reasonable fee for the use of the system.
Is my data being backed up?
Our state-of-the-art servers are protected and backed up nightly to an offsite location. Our software and infrastructure is updated regularly with the latest security patches.
Can I offer a "White Labeled" version of Convertable to my clients?
Not at this time, but please contact us at email@example.com if this is something that interests you.
Who owns my data?
You own your data. We will never sell, rent, lease or give away your information to any third party. We hate spammers and would never contact any of your leads for any reason.
Creating a Form
How do I install the form code on my website?
You will only need basic HTML knowledge to use add the form code. Copy and paste the "tracking script" anywhere between the <HEAD> and </HEAD> tags on every page of your website using any simple HTML editor. Then copy the "form code" anywhere between the <BODY> and </BODY> tags on your contact page. You can add the form code to multiple pages of your site if you like.
Can I add CSS Styles to my forms?
If you are a CSS superstar, you will easily be able to change the CSS styles on the form elements. Feel free to get funky.
How do I customize my form button?
If you're an HTML pro, you may want to use a custom form button so it matches your site. You can use CSS to style it or use a graphic as a button using this code (in place of the input button code provided at the bottom of your form).
Replace this line of code:
<input type="submit" name="submit" value="SUBMIT" id="submit" onclick="getForm();" />
With this line of code:
<input type="image" src="http://www.MYWEBSITE.COM/images/button-submit.gif" name="submit" value="SUBMIT" id="submit" onclick="getForm();" />
Note that you need to change the above from "mywebsite.com" to your actual website address, create a graphical button of some sort, and upload the graphic in the 'images' directory of your site. Don't worry if you mess it up. The form code is saved in your account so you won't have to start from scratch.
Can form submissions get sent to multiple email addresses?
Sure. You may want your lead alerts to go to you and a few co-workers. You can add them by logging in to your account and clicking the "Account Settings" link at the top right of the page. You will see on this page that you can add additional email addresses in the "Lead Alerts" fields.
Can I add have multiple forms in one account?
We only allow one form per account at this time. If this feature is important to you, please let us know and we will add it to a future upgrade.
How do I test my form?
Testing your form is easy. After you install the form code on your webpage, simply fill out and submit the form. You should see the fields that you completed show up on your lead dashboard. You should get an email with the submission information as well. If you don't get the email, check your spam folder.
What if I am not getting my email confirmation?
You should be seeing emails from firstname.lastname@example.org, if you are not, first check your spam/junk folder to see if they are getting filtered. Second, check your Convertable Account to make sure your email address is filled in properly. You may also try adding a different email account as a test. Third, contact your email guy and see if the Convertable email is getting flagged for some reason.
What if my leads are not showing up on my dashboard?
Try re-copying and re-pasting both the tracking script (between the HEAD tags) and form code (between the BODY tags) to your website from the form builder.
How do I download my leads?
You can download all of your leads into an XLS file by clicking the "Excel Export" link at the top of the Dashboard page.
Can I delete old leads?
Yes, you can delete old leads. However, maintaining all of your leads regardless of their success is a key ingredient to accurate reporting, so you really may not want to get rid of old leads.
What if the email that I had when I created the account is no longer accessible?
In this case, you can contact our friendly customer service folks at email@example.com. We can change the email on the account for you.
Can I have multiple logins on one account?
We only allow one username per account at this time. If this feature is important to you, please let us know and we'll put it on our bucket list.
How do I retrieve my username or password?
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We would be happy to reset your password or find your username for you.
How do I change my password?
Login to your account and click the "user settings" link at the top of the page. Then click the "Change Password" button. Passwords must be at least 8 characters in length and contain least one letter and one digit.
Can I change my username?
Sorry, your username can't be changed at this time. If this feature is important to you, please let us know and we will add it to a future release.
How do I cancel my account?
We would hate to see you go, but you can simply email us at email@example.com and we can terminate your account.
